The Web Course Design Community is designed to provide information regarding instructional design for excellence in Web-course development, skills in communicating in the online environment, and first-hand as an online student.
The Web Course Design Community online course - the final step toward online instructor certification - will be offered again in Fall 2008, from September 8 through December 5. The course will begin with a Face-to-Face orientation in the Faculty Development Center. Dates for mandatory participation are listed below:
* September 1, 2008 is the deadline to register and meet all prerequisites for the WCD Online Course.*Attendence at one of the orientation sessions is required.
* September 8th & 9th are the dates of the orientation sessions, from 2-5 PM each day in the OIT Faculty Lab, Steen Library Room 219.
