Director's Welcome

Welcome,

The Office of Instructional Technology enjoys working side-by-side with faculty, staff, and students in using technology to support SFA's academic mission. Some of SFA's past accomplishments include:

  • The launch of the SFA Online website highlighting SFA's many online programs and courses.
  • Being the first university in Texas to offer an online Post-Baccalaureate Initial Certification Program in Elementary Education
  • Being one of the first universities in Texas to seamlessly integrate access our student information system, course management system, and access to library databases through a single-sign on campus portal interface
  • Being one of the first universities in Texas to use the H.323 protocol to deliver multi-point, two-way interactive video via the Internet and Internet2
