Faculty Online Orientation Resources

Faculty who have fully online courses or those who have enhancements using myCourses may wish to assess students over the Online Orientation materials. For your convenience, using the instructions below, from Faculty Resource Storage, please import the Orientation Review Assessment to your online course. The Faculty Resource Storage may be found in your myCourses list.

1. Log on to myCourses (http://mycourses.sfasu.edu) using the same mySFA Username and PIN.

2. Click the title of the course to which you would like to import the assessment, then click Manage Course and Import.
3. Click the Faculty Resource Storage course in your list of courses in the left navigation window.
4. In the right navigation window, where your files and folders appear, click on the folder Faculty and locate the file orient_review_assess, click OK. Wait for the import to finish.

5. When the import is completed, click the View Import Log to check the log. Close the window and click Return to go back to the Content Home Page.
6. To view the imported Orientation Review Assessment, click Assessments Tool. You will also see a column for it in your Grade Book.
7. To make it readily accessible to students, from the Home Page, click Add Content Link, then select Assessments. From the list choose the Orientation Review Assessment and click Add Selected.
