Access Online Orientation

1. Open a browser (Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox) and type in the URL Address field:http://blackboard@sfasu.edu Note: If you are already logged into Blackboard please log out and open a new browser session.

2. Enter your logon information which is your mySFA User Name for the Username and your unique password as the Password. If your mySFA User Name has been added to the Blackboard Online Orientation, you will see the Orientation in your Blackboard list of courses. If not, you MUST use the generic logon to gain access to the Orientation (see below). To have your mySFA User Name added to the Orientation, contact Blackboard Support at 468-1919 or email blackboard@sfasu.edu. This example shows the generic logon information.
Note: If your mySFA Username & unique password do not work OR you find that you do not have the Blackboard Online Orientation on your list of Blackboard courses, please use the following generic logon information to gain access to the Orientation: Username: onlinestudent Password: student For assistance, please contact blackboard@sfasu.edu or 936-468-1919.

3. To enter the course, click on the link "Blackboard Online Orientation - 002 ONLINE MODULES."

4. Read through the introduction, then, click on the "Tips for Success" to begin. Upon completion of the orientation, if your courses are available, take an opportunity to become familiar with the environment before classes begin.
